Aristopet Sulphadim is a broad spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of coccidiosis, enteritis, bacterial infections and diarrhea in caged birds.

Active Ingredient
70mg/ml Sulfadimidine Sodium (equivalent to 64.9mg/ml Sulfadimidine)

Dose Rate/Directions:
Administer either in drinking water OR by adding to food.

  • Parrots: 5.0g/L in water (1 level spoon per 125ml).
  • Finch/Pigeon: 2.5g/L (1 level spoon per 250ml).
  • All Ornamental Birds: 5.0g/kg in dry food (1 level spoon per 125g).
  • All Ornamental Birds: 10.0g/kg in Hand Rearing Food (2 level spoons per 125g).
  • Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily.
  • Remove sources of grit and calcium for the duration of treatment.
  • Supply medicated water for 5-7 days (Psittacosis 45 days) in glass, glazed or plastic containers.
